Notifications
Notifications are messages about what happens to you, such as someone quoting you, commenting on your quote or inviting you to a group. They are always kept in your Inbox. Open it with the bell in the top left of the Feed. Notifications in your Inbox are kept for 90 days, and disappear when the quote, comment or group they are about is deleted.
Push notifications
A push notification announces a new notification on your phone's screen. You choose which notifications also send a push notification. You do this under Account, under Preferences, at Notifications. Push notifications must also be turned on in your phone's settings.
Did you turn push notifications off? Then you only see new notifications in your Inbox. Security alerts about your account (such as a new passkey or a sign-in with a login code) cannot be turned off.
Muting a group
Open the group, tap … in the top right and choose Mute group (or toggle the group under Mute groups in Account → Notifications). You then get no push notifications from that group, not even about you. Your notifications from that group stay in your Inbox. You mute each group separately.
Please note
You don't get a notification about your own actions.
