Want to connect QuoteUs to your society's or club's website, build a bot for your group, or show the latest quotes on a screen in your shared house? Developers can use the QuoteUs API to build their own integrations.
We are happy to help you set this up. Please get in touch with us before you start; automated use of QuoteUs always happens in consultation with us.
What we provide
- A complete OpenAPI file (
openapi.yaml): this gives you every available endpoint, parameter and data model straight away, and lets you generate a typed API client in your own programming language. - A suitable way to connect: depending on what you are building, we agree together on how your integration authenticates (for example with an API token, OAuth2 or OpenID Connect). See API authentication and access.
How to request API access
Send an email to support@quoteus.eu and briefly tell us:
- What you want to build and for which group or use case.
- Which data or actions you need (for example only reading quotes, or also saving new quotes).
- How you prefer to connect.
We will get back to you with the OpenAPI specification and the credentials you need.
